The phrase “Conversational Portraits” has been used recently to describe the style of “Personality Portraits” I’ve been creating for decades. These portraits require a trust between photographer and subject. After all, your portrait should capture the “real you”, should’t it? If you want something else, something fake, you should continue your online search.
I truly believe a portrait should reveal that sparkle in your eye, maybe put you in a surrounding that exemplifies who you are. Camera unaware is my preferred method for capturing special moments.
Tired of saying “Cheese” to bring the forced smile? Not comfy rigidly seated in a studio while the photographer directs you into awkward feeling poses? Most of us fit these categories. It makes us uneasy, uncomfortable, even stressed out. I avoid these techniques during portrait shoots.
If you like this style of portraiture contact me to schedule a Session Time.
We’ll shoot at a location suitable to both of us. Usually in metro Denver, elsewhere in Colorado, and other destinations.
