Shooting Wide Open

Both of the photographs on my current postcard stand out for the same reason: they were shot wide open. This technique puts emphasis on one part of the image, thus drawing your eye directly to it. As the “storyteller with a camera” it’s one way for me to tell you a visual story. In fact,...

Cookin’ Up A Storm

Another fabulous after hours event with the South Metro Denver Realtors Association. Based on the Food Network Iron Chef Competition, 9 teams competed for the traveling trophy. The “Secret Ingredient” was coffee.

Bowling Green

This is my first time to attend the Annual SMDRA (South Metro Denver Realtor Association) Bowling Tournament… since I just became an Affiliate member last month. It was a great opportunity to put my signature “storytelling with a camera” shooting to work because I’m much better with a camera than a bowling ball.

ABOUT My blog

I'm working hard this year to overcome my love / hate relationship with blogging. Over the years, I've looked at is as a difficult chore, a task to be done on a regular basis.

Guess what? Not many posts were produced. In fact, none in 2023.

Changing up my attitude in 2024. Will post because I have stories to share. When writing about the amazing adventures and experiences from "back in the day", it's fun and often enlightening to relive those memories.

Also posting about present day events and photo subjects allows for "real time' sharing of those experiences.
